So, the EULA changes are in effect as of today. To the best of our knowledge, we are in compliance now.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, check out these links:

That's a lot of reading, but this is basically what it means for us here at CraftHub.

We don't have ranks any more.
At least, not the way we used to. We can't link a rank to a contribution total. That is strictly against the EULA. What we do have are our staff ranks, which are necessary for delegating specific levels of responsibility and authority, and were never linked to money to begin with, the default rank, and a regular rank. Regular works the way it always did, but might be given out a bit more now. It's given at staff discretion to regular users or a player a staff member feels like giving it to. At the moment, it doesn't do much besides give a coloured light green name.

We can't charge for protection plugins.
We still have Grief Prevention, and you still have all of the protection that you used to have, but you can't purchase more blocks with real world money. What you can do, is purchase blocks in game now for the price of .25 per block. That works out to be about 64 coins per chunk, or a little over 3 emeralds sold at spawn. Optionally, you can also sell protection blocks, but only at .18 coins per block.

We can't give out items for money.
This is pretty much the same as the ranks. Servers can't charge for items (we never did) or give out items in return for contributions or donations (which we used to do.) You do still have access to a kit, but it's the same kit for everyone at the moment. The apples were replaced with cooked fish because it has better saturation. It's /kit aid and is available one time per day, like the kits used to be.

Other changes obviously include homes. Previously some of you had 2 or 3, and we are going to do our best to get those back to you. They are disabled at the moment and everyone has only 1, but those homes have not been reset. We need to update our plugin to allow for purchasing homes in game, and then they'll be available again.

All of that said, we're relatively still the same CraftHub. We still run on your support, and we still plan to keep on keeping on. We're working on other things we can make available in the buycraft store to continue raising funds for the server rent. For the time being, the titles are still available, as are the hats. We've added an option to make a one time donation or to set up a monthly subscription. If you can help with the costs, please do. Every little bit helps! If you can't help out monetarily, follow us on Facebook or on Twitter, tell your friends about us, or make videos and post them on Youtube!

If you have any questions, suggestions or concerns, please feel free to contact one of us!

Take care folks, and we hope to see you soon. Thanks for playing us here at CraftHub!
